Ranveer's Rambles

Sometimes it doesn't make sense, but that's the best part.
It started with a few stories but now I mostly question what we see everyday and think of normal.

What is a kingdom without a king? Or an army of soldiers without their general? A lot of you would say that they would be incomplete. I want to ask why? Why can the kingdom not be seen for its beauty without someone to represent it, why can the army not be seen for every single soldier’s strength instead of just the one that leads it? Is there that much of a difference between each one of us? Sometimes it feels almost obvious that there is, yet with a closer look you see that nothing exactly adds up to one truly better than the other. Only one thing stands out at the time, the thought of being the leader.

You can be a king even in the modern world. Just by thinking like one, in that way even without a kingdom, you’ll be treated like you have one. Why? Because people will automatically begin to think of you as better than them and at that moment, once they feel you are better than them, you can never actually lose to them, no matter how similar or equal you may be. Why does the lion rarely lose in a fight with an elephant, the elephant is much larger and stronger, yet the lion will still somehow manage to win because, in the lion’s mind, he is the king and must always win so he keeps fighting till he either cannot recover or till he wins the fight.

Essentially it all begins to come down to the way we think and that’s where it ends as well. As even if every day I wake up as a common human yet believe that I am the king, I am closer to becoming the king than a common humanity that is simply waking up to believe themselves as a common human. A king can wake up in the grandest palace in the world with workers all around him to make him feel comfortable yet still feel as if he is not the king and should not sit on the chair each day. He could be out at war, fighting for his kingdom to remain standing yet still feel as if he is not worthy of his position.

That is where the fight is lost, maybe everything the kingdom was showing him, leading all of the people and standing above them brought to his notice how far away he was from everyone else, simply because he got to sit on the chair and they did not. Everyone wanted to be in his chair, and some even thought that in their life they would be able to do so. The confusion of having so much competition yet none of it at all is what might bring the king to his feet. The only thing that could bring the king down is his believing he can be brought down.
